Research of Radiator Selection on Tractor with Stage Ⅲ Emission Level

Shi Fan;School of Automotive, Tongji University;
China is a large production and consumption nation of diesel engine on a world scale. As one of the biggest consumers of diesel engines, the pollution emissions from off-road machinery should not be ignored. Since the emission level of diesel engine tightens up from Stage Ⅱ to Stage Ⅲ, this study began from carrying out relevant testing, to solve heat balance matching problem of big and small radiator in Shanghai Newholland tractor for emission level upgrade from Stage Ⅱ to Stage Ⅲ. Besides,boiling on radiator and overheating on hydraulic pump in plateau regions caused by the emission level upgrade have also been discussed. The study provided some reference and guide for above mentioned problems.
