Analysis on the Competitiveness of the Tea Industry in Hangzhou

Known as the 'Chinese tea capital',Hangzhou is not only the main tea production area of Zhejiang province,but also an important distributing center of tea.The tea industry in Hangzhou has profound history,huge brand influence,strong scientific research ability,and other significant advantages.With the method of SWOT-PEST matrix,it analyzes the competitiveness of the tea industry comprehensively in terms of economic,social,political,technological factors and competitive advantage,weakness,opportunity and threat.Therefore,it puts forward the strategic countermeasures to promote the sustainable development of the tea industry in Hangzhou by seven constructed systems,which are ecological tea production,public service organization,perfected tea standards,safety quality assurance,brand development strategy,social technical services,and scientific propaganda and guidance.
