Influence from Aluminum and Magnesium Content to Etching Performance of Microcrystalline Zinc Board

Based on the experiments,this article emphasizes the influence from aluminum and magnesium content to the etching performance of microcrystalline zinc board.The result shows that,from the samples with high aluminum(0.10%Al) and high magnesium(0.08%Mg) within 13.0%~16.2% range of nitric acid density in etching,an etching-speed 0.05mm/min can be obtained, as well as the utmost zinc-dissolved amount of 60~80g/L and achieved the ideal printing plate quality at the same time.This is related to the fact that the proper amount of Mg2Zn11 mutually presenting a dispersion state distributes evenly in the thinning crystal structure and has improved the etching performance of the material.For this reason,in the enterprises,the inner controlling standard range of aluminum and magnesium content is suitable for 0.09~0.10% Al and 0.07~0.08% Mg,with the corresponding processing condition controlled.
