In the process of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, usually, the handle of evaluation sets is based on maximum membership principle,we use the Effective index of maximum membership principle to estimate the effectiveness of the evaluation results. The experimental results show that maximum membership principle is not universal, has some shortcomings. According to the shortcomings, through the quantitative description of membership degree, can get a more reasonable evaluation result and make up for the shortage of the maximum membership principle.
