Safety Monitoring Renovation and Deformation Law Analysis for Gezhouba Third Ship Lock

The original safety monitoring equipment of the Gezhouba third ship lock is simple,only focused on the surface of the ship lock,and the monitoring accuracy cannot satisfy the requirement of the specifications.By renovation of the safety monitoring arrangement,through the selection,rating and calibration,installation and observation of the monitoring equipment,and with preliminary analysis for the deformation law of the third ship lock,the purpose of the renovation project is attained,and a foundation is laid for establishing an automatic monitoring system.The observation results by new equipment show that:when the ship lock runs at the full water level,the opening degree of the gate wall is smaller than 2 mm compared with the empty gates;the opening and closing of the left and right vertical joints of the lock chamber,the floor and base surface-connected location is less than 0.1 mm.The ship lock deformation is in good correspondence with the water level of the lock chamber and temperature change,in line with general deformation laws of hydraulic structures.
