STUDY ON AMBIENT WATER INDUCED CORROSION OF MAIN GALLERY CONCRETE OF DAHEITING DAM

Wang Shaoming (Panjiakou Key Water Control Project Management Bureau.M.W.R,064309,Qianxi,Hebei)  
Much deposition was found in the ditch of the main gallery of Daheiting Dam in 1988,including milky white,black and red brown precipitate. Through analysis of water quality for 17 groups of drainage holes and bore holes, several conclusions are drawn:at 15 sections,ambient water caused mediam corrosion to sections F 1,14,10 and 20 and the gallery of section 28.
