The Characteristics of Tropospheric Refractivity Fluctuation

In this paper, the statistical methods of tropospheric refractivity fluctuation research are described in details, and we describe the methods of measuring tropospheric refractivity fluctuation and the methed to eliminate the error resulted from airborne measurement. Using these methods and data obtained by measurement on airplane and suface, we obtained conclusion as the following:a stronger refractivity fluctuation exists at a certain altitude; at same area the scale and strength of fluctuation is biggest in summer and smallest in winter; at different area the sca1e and strength of the fluctuations increase with sampling time becoming long although they are different from each other.
