Statistical Properties of Chaff Echoes

The power spetral density of the chaff echoes and the crdeorrelation coefficient of polarization scatter fractions of the chaff cloud is discussed in this paper. It is showed that the power spectral density of the chaff echoes is Gauss function in case that the velocity distribution of the chaff dipoles in Maxwell. The croaseorrelation properties of the chaff polarization scatter fractions are significant to counteract chaff interference, so the crosscorrelation coeffitient of the chaff echoes is derived on assuming that the chaff dipoles are even distribution in θ0≤θ≤π-θ0，0≤φ≤2π.
