Simulation and monostatic RCS calculation of ship turbulent wake

Based on bi-linear superposition method and semi-empirical energy spectrum expression,the turbulent wake behind the ship,which consists of a vortex pair and jet flows,is numerically simulated.A hybrid physical optics(PO)and two scale method(TSM)is presented to calculate the backscatter from the turbulent wake.The efficiency and accuracy of this method are validated through a comparison between the classical two scale method and the experimental data.
