Effects of high voltage prick electrostatic fields on sprout of soybean seeds

To explore the biological effects of high voltage prick electrostatic fields(HVPEF) on sprout of soybean seeds.Put soybean seeds into HVPEF for 4 days(20 min/time) and the take them out,secondly put them in appropriate environment suitable for sprouting.The sprout ratio and index of seeds,and the length of sprouts were observed and measured.The sprout ratios and index of experimental groups were increased 4.60% and 10.59%,respectively.the lengths of sprouts were increased 31.15%(P0.000 5).The vitality index was increased 63.395%.Soybean seeds that were pre-treated by suitable dose of HVPEF could be effectively increased sprout index and vitality.
