Temperature Field around a Crack in a Current-Carrying Plate Subjected to the Pulse Current

Bai Xiangzhong Hu Yuda (The Department of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, Yanshan University, Qinhuangdao 066004).  
This paper studies the temperature field around crack tips in an infinite thin current-carrying plate subjected to tile pulse current. Its concrete expression is derived consequently. The calculated examples show that the possibility to prevent cracking by means of pulse current is conformed.
