A Study on the Relationship between the Income of the Managerial Staff and the Performance of the Public Companies——Based on Investigation in the Electronic Sector

The incentive mechanism of the senior managerial staff of China's public companies has been a focal point of discussion.This paper explores the relationship between the Income of the managerial staff and the performance of the public companies using data gathered from China's electronic sector in three consecutive years.The research finding is that no apparent positive relevance exists between the monetary reward of the managers and thee performance of the companies,nor is there much relevance to whether the biggest share holder is the state or not,but there is strong positive relevance to the scale of the company.
