Advancements in NO and Its Synthase Inhibitors

NO is a very tiny molecule full of poison, discovered to have the ability to diastoliate blood vessels.Many chemical substances can stimulate or restrain synthesis of NO in the body.NO can pass through the cell membrane freely and is naturally unstable.It has the tautormeric characteristics of oxidation and reduction because it has a free elec- tron.NO is present in many biological functions of the body and is also involved in a variety of patho- logic processes as a bio-active substance.The en- zyme that induces NO synthesis is present in two forms,a primary and an induced type.The primary type forces NO release intermittence and pulse in- termittence and has protective uses.The reduced type can induce production under a pathological state and eatalysize,producing a large amount of NO and creating pathological harm.NOS inhibitors can re duce harm and brfng new hope to the serious,and refractory patient
