The post-operative
rehabilitation exercises are important for the success of an arthroscope -aided operation. There is not a befitting rehabilitation treat-ment system for inland postarthroscope -aided -operative patients yet. The Orthope-dic Center and Department of Physicai Treat-ment of Beijing No. 304 Hospital have for-mulated a rehabilitation program that directed and implemented by professional therapists. The effect of the program is: a) improving regulative ability of the central nervous sys-tem and vegetative nervous system; b) improving metabolic ability of the body and the cardiopulmonary function; c) rehabilitating conformation and function of the joint. The common modern supports used in rehabilita-
tion exercises are adjustable numeric chuck support for knee-joints and adjustable mul-tidirectional axis support for shoulder-joints etc. The basie methods of rehabilitation are the whole procession exercise and rehabilitation of joint activity, rehabilitation of operated limbs' ability of walking, exercises of re-strengthening the muscle etc.
