The progress of minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis in the treatment of proximal humeral fractures

Because of the complicated anatomic structure around the proximal humerus, though there are a lot of treatment methods,but the incidence of complications is high.The application of minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis brings many benefits.Recently,a good deal of research has been done on anatomy of proximal humerus,surgical approaches,plate design and medial support and so on to reduce complication.
