These patients have been divided into observation group and control group randomly, the observation group were given 2 piece Enalapril maleate and folic acid tablet(each tablet containing 5 mg enalapril and 0.4 mg folic acid), orally 1 times a day; the control group were given 2 piece enalapril tablet(each tablet containing 5 mg enalapril), orally 1 times a day. Two groups patients were given dietary intervention, after 6months. Blood pressure, plasma homocysteine and folic acid levels were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results After treatment the level of homocysteine was significantly lower both the observation group and control group, the observation group was lower than the control group. Meanwhile, the folic acid level was increased significantly for both group, the observation group rise superior to control group.Furthermore, the systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure decreased significantly for both group, the extent of two groups is similar.
