Effects of the temperature of the patients who received the operation of hip arthroplasty with nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs(NSAIDs)

Objective The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the temperature of the patients who received the operation of hip arthroplasty with NSAIDs to provide reference for clinical treatment. Methods 184 patient were divided into two groups. 106 patients(group A) received the drug therapy of NSAIDs(diclofenac sodium 75 mg Qd)1d before the operation day,the operation day and 1-8d after the operation. 78patients(group B)did not receive the drug therapy. The temperature of the patients were measured at 8:00,12:00,16:00 and 20:00 before the operation day,the operation day and 1-8d after the operation. Results The mean body(36.708±0.24)℃ and the Maximum temperature(37.100±0.253)℃of the patient from group A were significantly lower than group B( P0.05). 1-8d after the operation. Other parameters were no significant differences in the two groups 1d before the operation day and the operation day. Conclusion The temperature of the patients who received the hip arthroplasty were deceased by NSAIDs therapy perioperative period
