Objective To analyze the correlation between vertebral artery dominance and posterior circulation ischemia. Methods 198 patients with cerebral infarction admitted to our hospital from February 2016 to November 2017 were selected as the study subjects. All patients were diagnosed by MRI.According to the results of cephalography, there were 104 cases of anterior circulation cerebral infarction and 94 cases of posterior circulation ischemia.Risk factors, influence factors and other clinical data of atherosclerosis were analyzed. Results The vertebral artery dominance was significantly higher in the post-circulation ischemia group than in the anterior circulation cerebral infarction group, and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).In patients with vertebral artery advantage, the risk of postcirculatory ischemia was significantly higher than that of patients with this blood mutation, and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Gender,coronary heart disease, and basilar artery curvature were significantly associated with postcirculatory ischemia in patients with vertebral artery dominance.Independent risk factors for postcirculatory ischemia in patients with vertebral artery dominance may be due to basilar artery curvature. Conclusion Vertebral artery advantage phenomenon has obvious correlation with posterior circulation ischemia, caused by combination of posterior circulation ischemia in patients with vertebral artery advantage appears the most likely factor is the basal artery bending, thus to make corresponding prevention measures.
