EARTHQUAKE RESPONSE ANALYSIS OF SOIL-PILE-NUCLEAR POWER STATION AUXILIARY WORKSHOP STRUCTURE INTERACTION SYSTEM

In the paper the "coupled horizontal-torsional dynamic response of soil-pile-nuclear island's auxiliary workshop structure system to earthquake exitation is studied. In the analysis. the approximate theroy by M. Novak,M. Novak's constant mathod M-method and constant method are,respectively,used to evaluate the impedance function of the pile foundation. The effects of nuclear containment shell and another auxiliary workshop structures built on the same foundation on the dynamic response of the studied auxiliary workshop are also considered.
