Seismic vulnerability analysis of multistory dwelling brick buildings

ZHANG Ling-xin, JIANG Jin-ren, LIU Jie-ping (Institute of Engineering Mechanics. China Seismological Bureau, Harbin 150080. China)  
This paper analyzes the seismic vulnerability of multistory dwelling brick buildings by Latin Hypercube Sampling technique and nonlinear seismic time history response analysis. The representative structures are determined by using some typical parametric values, which are chosen according to the scope of common design parametric values of multistory dwelling brick buildings. In the analysis, the uncertainties of earthquake load and structural parameters are considered. The vulnerability curves are given for five limit states of various structural damage degrees. respectively.
