Experimental seismic study of large-span prestressed concrete space frame structures

The shaking table test was conducted to gain an insight into the earthquake resistant performance of a large-span prestressed concrete grillage girder space frame structure. The results of the two models indicate that (1)the large-span prestressed concrete grillage girder space frame structure can render large storey stiffness; (2)the coupled seismic responses of the symmetric large-span prestressed concrete grillage girder space frame structure may be neglected;(3)the vertical seismic response at the center is larger than that at the edge;(4)under the same acceleration peak value but different wave forms, the vertical seismic responses are different.
