Study on shaking table test model for composite isolation structures

A two-floor steel-frame model of composite isolation structure is tested to simulate the earthquake action on shaking table.The isolator layer of model is combined by laminated rubber bearings and sliding isolation bearings.It can provide sufficient elastic resilience and consume earthquake energy effectually.Structure dynamic response in the test was compared with that of analysing in the software.It is shown that frame acceleration response and relative storey displacement are both small in composite isolation structure,which can consume large earthquake energy.then it can be reflected by the software analysing.
