Study on seismic behavior of recycled concrete members subjected to reversed torsion

A study is conducted on the seismic behavior of two recycled concrete members with 100% recycled coarse aggregate under the low frequency reversed torsion.The seismic behavior of recycled concrete members such as failure features,hysteresis loops,ductility,degeneration of strength and stiffness and energy dissipation under seismic loads are investigated.The test and analyses show that the recycled concrete member can be used to structures because of its good seismic behavior.The formula for calculating the torsional capacity of members made of recycled aggregate concrete is proposed.The predictions of the formula agree well with the experimental results.
