Experimental investigation of Y-eccentrically steel braced RC frames energy-dissipation

In order to research the energy-dissipation of Y-eccentrically steel braced RC frames of different connected nodes between link and RC frame beam,the one-bay two-story test specimens at one-third scale were carried out under low reversed cyclic loading.Process of test was introduced.Failure mechanism,hysteretic behavior,ductility,rigidity degeneration and energy-dissipation of specimens were analysed.Experimental studies and analysis show that Y-eccentrically steel brace reinforced RC frame is rational and feasible,and 80% of the lateral load was carried by Link.Frame beams and link connected node have higher bearing capacity,when the U shaped steel connect frame beams and the specimen of the hysteresis curve are full.The specimen has poor energy consumption capacity,when the steel slab connects the bottom of frame beams and the hysteresis of specimen curve demonstrate pinch phenomenon.If U shaped steel connects frame beams,the link failure would cause the structure failure.If Steel slab connects the bottom of frame beams,the failure of connection would cause the failure of the structure.
