Experimental study on the seismic performance of joints of coupling beam and steel reinforced high-strength concrete short-leg shear wall

Four SRHC short-leg shear wall and coupling beam joints and one reinforced high-strength concrete(RHC) short-leg shear wall and coupling beam joint were designed for the low cyclic loading test.The influences of hysteretic behavior,deformability and energy dissipation capacity on the main variable parameters of steel type,axial compression ratio and beam type were studied.Results indicate that the hysteretic hoops of SRHC short-leg shear wall and coupling beam joints are plump,bearing capacity,stiffness and seismic performance are higher than RHC short-leg shear wall and coupling beam joint.But ductility is less than three,ultimate story drift is less than 1/100,and equivalent viscous damping coefficients vary from 0.17 to 0.24.It shows that all specimens have poor ductility,poor anti-collapse capacity,and higher energy dissipation capacity.
