Taking Mianzhu Jinhua bridge as the example, combined with the bridge actual damage, the characteristics of traveling responses of the long-span arch bridge are studied. The nonlinear seismic performance of the bridge is analyzed on the basis of SAP2000 software using Wenchuan earthquake waves. The results show that traveling wave has great effect on seismic response of Jinhua Bridge, especially on the upper rib arch foot arch section and significantly shorter column, which is consistent with the calculation results of the actual damage, the same type of bridge seismic evaluation provides useful reference.
