Experimental study on seismic behavior of the prefabricated EPS concrete wallboard with steel frame

The internal steel keel of the prefabricated EPS concrete wallboard only bears the out-of-plane wind load,hence the seismic behavior of the wallboard was determined by the lateral deformation ability of the internal EPS concrete blocks.Therefore,in this paper,an pseudo static experimental research was conducted on four prefabricated EPS concrete wallboards with steel frame.The failure process,deformation capacity,hysteretic characteristics,and energy dissipation coefficient under the low reversed cyclic loading were analyzed.The experimental results show that the lateral deformation of EPS concrete wallboard can satisfy the demands of the corresponding design codes.Fiberboard are greatly connected to EPS concrete wall panel and the fiberboard have good skin diaphragm effects on the seismic performance of wall.Moreover,the seismic behavior of prefabricated EPS concrete wallboards was increased by the growth of its aspect ratio.
