Optimization control of spatial frames based on SMA-piezoelectric smart friction damper

Based on the shape memory alloy super elastic properties and the inverse piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric ceramics,a kind of SMA-piezoelectric smart friction damper was designed.There are some limitations that using genetic algorithms.This paper presents an improved genetic algorithm.By using the multi-mode control performance index as the optimization criterion,optimization of damper distribution was carried out on a spatial frame.By using linear quadratic regulator(LQR) algorithms,seismic response analysis of the optimal arrangement scheme of four dampers was done.The result showed that the improved genetic algorithm has a better convergence、stronger ability of optimization and get better arrangement.The damper optimization arrangement scheme of improved genetic algorithm can reduce the peak seismic response of structures more effectively.
