Investigation and analysis of seismic capacity of rural buildings in Jiangxi

With regard to the present situation of rural buildings' poor seismic capacity generally in our country,and in order to further master the seismic capacity of rural buildings in the area of Jiangxi,especially in significant earthquake monitoring and prevention area,we investigated rural buildings' seismic capacity of 8 counties,24 towns and 72 natural villages of several cities in Jiangxi province,and 363 typical rural buildings were examined in detail.Firstly,the seismic background and seismic damage characteristics of rural buildings in Jiangxi are summarized; Then,according to the survey data and Jiujiang Earthquake in history,this paper points out the problems of rural buildings in the seismic design and construction.The seismic damage prediction results in different regions and different structural types of rural buildings are presented,and different structural types and the seismic capacity of rural buildings in different regions are analyzed,and the seismic capacity of existing buildings in Jiangxi province are summarized; Finally,in view of rural buildings in Jiangxi,effective measures to enhance the seismic capacity of rural buildings are proposed,which provide references for seismic prevention and disaster reduction of rural buildings.
