Study on seismic performance evaluation method of pillar type electrical equipment based on random response spectrum

In this paper,the evaluation of the seismic performance of the pillar type electrical equipment structure is carried out. An evaluation algorithm is established to evaluate the safety of the design results of the dynamic magnification factor of the structure. Firstly,the random response spectrum method is used to express the random seismic load,and the probability distribution of maximum acceleration is employed by the Gumbel distribution. Then,Monte Carlo sampling method is used to generate the sample of seismic response spectrum. And the finite element method is adopted to calculate the seismic response of the pillar type electrical equipment. Finally,the reliability index of the structure is calculated according to a performance function with seismic response and a threshold value.By an example,it shows the method can be used toevaluate the reliability of pillar type electrical equipment.
