A Study on CAA for Thyristor Circuits and Motor Systtem

This paper describes key problems about universal Computer Aided Analysis program of thyristor circuits and motor system based on the sparse tableau approach and points out the characteristics of this method. Using this method, a control engineer can develop all kinds of simulation program on the microcomputer. The simulation program in this paper has been applied to make digital simulation of several thyristor circuits, a DC-motor system driven by a three-phase full-wave rectifier circuit and an induction-motor system driven by a current- source inverter on the microcomputer.By comparing the simulation results with the oscillogram of experimental devices, we find that this simulation program is valid and practical.
