A Method for Correcting Magnetic Field Homogeneity with Magnetized Shims

This paper is concerned with highly homogeneous magnetic field correction utilizing magnetized shims. With the presented method, one set of correction elements maycompensate a set of spherical harmonic fields instead of only one spherical harmonicfield in the traditional method. Then the magnetized shims may be significantly reduced.
