Analysis for Characteristics of a Double-Stare Synchronous Generator with Rectifier Load Through a Windings Transformer of Reverse Direction

According to the fundamental machine equation and the commutation mechanism of the doublebridge convertor in series, the expression of the armature voltage and current of the synchronous generator with Y-Y windings shifted by 30 degrees are deduced. Moreover, the rectifier characteristics in three option modes are obtained, while the commutation angle is larger than 30 degrees, the operation mode is also better in the special power system, with rectifier load. At last, the simulation and experimental results are compared with those of the theoretic analysis.
