Study on the Connecting Methods of Rotor Windings While Bridge Rectifiers Used for Pole-Changing Wound-Motor

The connecting methods of rotor windings is analyzed while bridge rectifiers are used for pole-changing wound-rotor. An example is given to compare the winding factors for different connecting methods when three slip rings are used and the additional adjusting resistance can be connected into rotor circuits in both pole numbers. The optimal connecting method is given.
