Development of Multi-channel Rapid Detection Based on Aircraft Lightning Suppressor Tester

In order to get more rapid detection of clamping voltages of the main components in aircraft lightning suppressor,which are used to determinate whether the state of protecting function is normal,saving the cycle-time required for aircraft maintenance,a multi-channel rapid detection based on aircraft lightning suppressor tester was developed.The existing lightning suppressor tester was upgrade and improved.It was able to detect the performance of single channel and multi-channel more quickly and accurately on the original basis.The C8051 microcontroller was used as the central control unit.The PHILPS′s PCA9506 chip was used to expand the multi-channel quick detecting function.After improvement,the technical indicators met the design requirements.By adjusting the main control software,it could meet the needs of different kinds of aircraft lightning suppressors.
