Study on Fusing Characteristic Testing System of the Fuse with the Constant Current

At present,most fusing characteristic of the fuse testers use low voltage large current simulation testing method.They have a great difference in practical application environment and they can′t test explosion-proof peculiarity of the fuse,which leads to deviation in the practical application.In order to the realistic needs for testing fusing characteristic of the fuse,a method of stepped impedance converter circuit with the constant current in advance to test fusing characteristic of the fuse was proposed.The STM32 F103 chip was used as the controller and a fusing characteristic of the fuse test system was designed.The experimental results showed that the system could not only direct measurement under practical environment and make the test environment close to the application environment,but also test fusing time and explosionproof peculiarity of the fuse.The system could output current range 0.03 ~ 50 A.It also has the function of controllable open conduction angle,rapid transformation and switch electric current,recording the melting time and exact output the test current.
