Research on Construction of Curriculum System for Undergraduate in Educational Technology

Curriculum system determines the objectives, specifications and quality of personnel training, and embodies the laws of talents' cultivation. The purpose of this study is to explore the rational construction of curriculum system for undergraduates in educational technology. Through case study, a method of quantitative analysis of curriculum system is proposed by using latent semantic analysis(LSA)and used in a university. The sample data from 24 universities are classified and analyzed, and typical problems existing in curriculum systems of undergraduates are identified. Based on what has been worked out, six principles are suggested for construction of curriculum system: the education-oriented principle;social needs- oriented principle; Technology-oriented principle; the principle of school characteristic;Personalized development principle and systematic principle of curriculum system. At last, several important relationships are discussed.
