Research on Application Status of iPad in Education of Autistic Patients in America and Its Implications

According to the characteristics of autistic patients and the features of the iPad, this paper adopts text analysis to study the application form and direction of iPad used in the education of autistic patients in America after analyzing the related literature about autism education in recent years. The results provide reference for the application of technology in autism education in China. The research finds that iPad is mainly used as video model carriers, voice generation devices, activity schedule carriers and application carriers in the education of autism children. On the other hand, i Pad is applied in vocabulary learning, reading comprehension, mathematics education and communication skills learning. Finally, this paper suggests that the application of i Pad in special education in China should be diverse, combined with game elements, and inclined to academic training.
