A Study of Educational Informatization Strategy:An International Comparison among America,Britain,Australia,Japan and Singapore

The successive publications such as "INCHEON DECLARATION" in 2015 have designed a global educational picture for the world in 2030. And how to realize that through educational informatization has become a major issue in China. Through literature review and comparative analysis, this paper expounds strategies of educational informatization adopted by five international forerunners---the United States, Britain, Australia, Japan and Singapore, and analyzes their common characteristics in promoting educational reform and reshaping educational forms. The research shows that the strategic focus and practical development of education informatization in five countries follow the similar construction path, that is "infrastructure construction-resource development-teachers training-application upgrade-teaching reform", and reshaping education form through reforming students' learning and teachers' teaching. Based on what have been discussed, this paper summarizes the experience of five countries during strategy formulation and promotion in education informatization from five aspects, namely theme formulation, structural design, target orientation, practical application and evaluation criteria, which provides reference for formulating and implementing strategies of education informatization in China.
