Sustainable Development Research on China’s Food Enterprise

Food industry is a pillar industry in China’s economic de- velopment, very important for the operation of the national economy and the development of market economy. It is an important choice in China’s sustainable development strategy to speed up the develop- ment of the food industry and ensure food security. "Sanlu milk pow- der incident" has revealed a lot of problems in the food industry in 2008, which have a negative impact on the sustainable development of food enterprises. Having expatiated the current development in China's large food enterprises, this article analyses the problems facing the food industry and proposes some measures and suggestions in terms of business, government and social dimensions.
