Experimental Study on NC Electrochemical Machining with Square Cathode

The experiments were carried out by use of four different kinds of square cathodes in NC-ECM.According to the analysis of the orthogonal experiment results,the influences curves of working voltage,cathode feed rate,electrolyte pressure,initial inter-electrode gap to the cutting depth were obtained.By comparing the influence of four different kinds of cathodes to the cutting depth,the optimal cathode structure was obtained.On the base of the analysis,the square hole was machined by selecting the appropriate processing parameters.
