Simulation of Temperature Evolution in the Process of Tube Electromagnetic Forming

In the process of tube electromagnetic forming,material's plastic property and conductivity were varied as the change of temperature and then influence the formability of workpiece.In this paper,two coupled models,circuit-electromagnetic and electromagnetic-thermal,has been built in the FEA software ANSYS to analyze the change,distribution and influencing factors of temperature during the forming.The results show that value of tube's temperature is increase as the increase of charge current's frequency.There are temperature gradients in direction of axial and radial also.
