Test and Analysis of Dynamic Characteristics for Large Ngau-tau Ram Type EDM Machine Tool

This article elaborated the dynamic characteristics′ test and analysis method of typical large ngau-tau-type EDM machine tool systematically. Multi-points momentary stimulation and single point measuring method of modal test,and ODS(operational deflection shapes) test method that under actual working conditions are used to test the typical EDM machine tool by the modal test and analysis system. After analyze test results of the modal and ODS tests,this kind of EMD machine tool′s dynamic stability is weakness within different work conditions. In order to improve the dynamic stability,the machine tool need to improve the layout of the mechanical system,light-weight design the sliding parts and improve the base parts′ rigidity.
