The Work Mechanism and Influence of Force Load on Ultrasonic Scalpel

The ultrasonic scalpel has been widely applied in operation as a new tool. But,as the operation objective is comprehensive biological tissue,the work mechanism is still not clear and there is little research on the character of the ultrasonic scalpel applied different force load. Therefore,the work mechanism and the influence of different force load on ultrasonic scalpel are studied by experiment.The result shows that cavitation effect plays an important role on the operation. Meanwhile,the results reveal that with the increase of force,the work frequency of ultrasonic scalpel with load almost does not shift,however both the radius of impedance circle and the maximum value of admittance decrease gradually to keep stable,in other words,the amplitude of ultrasonic scalpel weakens gradually to constant.
