A New Algorithm of Total Least Squares for Linear Models

LENG Shun-lü;YANG Gen-xin;YANG Xin-yun;Yunnan Provincial Mapping Institute;Yunnan Land and Resources Vocational College;Yunnan Institute of Surveying and Mapping of Geology and Mineral Resources;  
Based on the linear model of total least squares,a new interative algorithm method by using total least squares for solving linear models was deduced from Lagrange priciple. The deducation of algorithm is simple and easy to program. Combined with an example of calculation,the comparison between calculated results of this and other methods have been carried out,and the results show that the proposed method is correct and reasonable.
