Dynamic Monitoring of Urban Green Space in Nanning City Based on Remote Sensing Technology

This paper takes Nanning center city within the express ring roads as the main study area,using object-oriented classification methods to extract the information of urban green space from high-definition remote sensing images in 2009 and 2015. Its goal is to realize the dynamic monitoring of the urban green space in Nanning. The results show that,the green areas in Nanning center city are reduced from 21 482 hm~2 to 15 419 hm~2,with a total reduction of 6 063 hm~2 from 2009 to 2015,while the coverage of green areas goes down from center city towards express rings roads. With the acceleration of urbanization and the rapid development of economy in Nanning,a large number of urban green space in Nanning has been transformed into the construction land. It is necessary to take some effective measures to protect the urban green space.
