THE EFFECTS OF ATMOSPHERIC TURBULENCE ON THE DETECTION OF THE PILOT FREQUENCY SIGNAL OF THE LASER COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS IN ATMOSPHERE

The effects of atmospheric turoulence on the detection of the pilot frequency signal lf the 10.6μm CO_2 laser communication systems in atmosphere are studied in this paper. The amplitude probability density function of the received pilot frequency signal reflected by the corner-reflector under the disturbance of both laser power fluctuation and Gaussion white noise is derived and the caculating results are analysed.
