This paper investigats the dielectric spectroscopy of the polymer film KAPTON in a wide range of temperature (-200-+250℃), frequency (100Hz-100 kHz) and moisture (0-100%RH), with an automatically balanced bridge system controlled by computer digital temperature. The possible mechanician of the dielectrical relaxation effect in a low temperature and moisture absorption is analysed and discussed with SEM, especially from the measured result of the relaxation character complex permittivity ε′, ε″ of dry and moist film in a low temperature. In the meantime, the theoretical explanation is given from extended Debye relaxation theory, and the relaxation activating energy is calculated also.
