Research on Switch-loss under Over Loading Condition in PFM Control of Induction Heating

The paper presents a detail analysis of over loading problems in PFM control.The traditional LC resonant induction heating uses only current feed back control strategy,which will have a great switching current when the system was in a overloading condition.The switching current have relation with two factors,the output current and the switching angle.We can decrease the current and switching angle in overload condition but not change the regulation effect under the rated load normal.So a new control strategy with current and phase feedback is presented.Based on this control strategy,the switch-loss of system under over loading condition can be decreased,and the power regulation under the rated load doesn′t be changed.The theoretical analysis and experiment result proved the superiority of the new control strategy.
