The Fragmental Narrative of New Century Rural Novels

LIU Hai-jun Literature and News College,Chongqing University,Chongqing 400040,China
Some writers in the new century feel the chaos and fragment of the rural life. They depict the changed country with the techniques of abnormal narrator and artistic means like carnival and absurdity without narrating the wholeness of the rural life, which is often shown in the late works of Jia Pingwa,Yan Lianke,Lin Bai and MoYan.Thereby, the new century rural narrative expresses confusion and represents the history and reality of the anomie of the rural area.
